The Membership and Development division of the Asian Medical Student’s Association (AMSA) at Tadulako University is an integral part of the organization’s structure. Led by Coordinator Hajjar Ustawana, the division comprises dedicated members including Aisyah Amanda Putri, Asti Yunita, and Chavara Fulgentius Parhusip. Together, they strive to foster growth and inclusivity within the AMSA community by organizing various programs and initiatives aimed at recruiting and nurturing new members. Through their collective efforts, they aim to create a vibrant and supportive environment that empowers medical students to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission and goals.

Program Overview

  • Open House

The Open House program serves as a gateway for aspiring medical students to join the AMSA community. This multifaceted initiative encompasses a series of phases designed to introduce prospective members to the organization’s values, activities, and opportunities. Beginning with a comprehensive socialization session and registration process, followed by a rigorous selection process involving written tests and interviews, the program ensures that candidates are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to AMSA-Untad. Upon successful completion, candidates are formally announced as AMSA members, marking the beginning of their journey towards personal and professional development within the organization.

  • AMSA Adventure

AMSA Adventure offers a dynamic platform for aspiring medical students to broaden their horizons and enhance their skills. Through a diverse array of interactive sessions and workshops, participants delve into various aspects of medical education, leadership, and community engagement. From informative lectures on AMSA initiatives and national healthcare issues to hands-on training in basic life support and minor surgery techniques, the program provides a holistic learning experience that empowers participants to become well-rounded healthcare professionals. By fostering a supportive learning environment and encouraging active participation, AMSA Adventure paves the way for future leaders in the medical field.

  • Welcoming Party

Welcoming Party embodies the spirit of camaraderie and inclusivity within the AMSA community. Serving as a formal induction ceremony for new AMSA members, the event celebrates their achievements and welcomes them into the AMSA family. Through a series of pre-welcoming activities and the main event itself, attendees have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with fellow members, build lasting friendships, and immerse themselves in the vibrant AMSA culture. By fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie, the Welcoming Party initiative sets the stage for a rewarding and fulfilling AMSA experience for all participants.

  • Pro-Vision

Pro-Vision aims to empower AMSA members with valuable insights into the organization’s structure and functions. Through a series of informative sessions and interactive discussions, participants gain a deeper understanding of AMSA’s various divisions and programs, as well as the roles and responsibilities of its members. By providing a platform for members to explore their interests and talents, Pro-Vision encourages active engagement and collaboration within the AMSA community. Through its comprehensive approach to member development, the program equips participants with the knowledge and skills they need to make meaningful contributions to AMSA’s mission and vision.

  • Aminefron

AMINEFRON is a flexible program conducted twice during the tenure of the administration. It serves as a platform for AMSA members to unwind and bond through informal activities such as games, casual conversations, and movie nights. Targeting members from the pre-clinical to clinical stages of their medical education, AMINEFRON aims to foster camaraderie and strengthen friendships among AMSA-Untad members. Under the stewardship of Aisyah Amanda and Chavara F.P, the program adapts to the availability of participants and can take place at various locations in Palu.
